I just noticed that, as I've yet to use the feature, that a forward looking publish date doesnt seem to work for me. I set several videos to publish in the future, and they didn't. Is there some sort of cron process I need to setup to fire something to check for publish dates and publish against these dates?

Hey tinycg,
The behaviour here is a little bit confusing, mostly because of the button naming, and will probably be changed in the soon-to-be-released MediaCore-0.8.1.
You actually need to hit "publish now" after setting the publish date. The publish date won't be set to "now" if you have already set a date, the old date will be kept.
