Default Admin username password not working

Hi,

I have recently installed 0.7.2 version. As per the install document it worked fine after doing easy_install for Pylons and Routes.

I am not finding any way to go forward from here. http://localhost:8080/admin shows the username password form but is not accepting Admin/admin username/password (the default).

After running the development server, it shows following message on the console:
<string>:150: DeprecationWarning: integer argument expected, got float

What should I do and where the Mediacore has gone crazy?

Hi,

I hope somebody can help me out why I am facing this problem. Where can I see the log message etc?

After entering Admin as the user name and admin as the password, url changes to:
http://localhost:8080/login?came_from=http://localhost:8080/admin/

and the same login page comes again. It is not moving forward.

Today I tried with the git repository and after following the installation procedure I got this error:

Hi, I am having this same problem above, default username and password fail and I get this:

Is there maybe an optimal version of turbogears required? It is turbogears that handles the auth?

Could someone tell me what version they can login successfully with?

Hi guys,

If the tg_user table can't be found, and assuming you're imported the ./setup.sql script, it sounds like SQLAlchemy might be improperly configured. Have you set your database username/pw and dbname? And if you go straight to http://localhost:8080/ does the page load, or does it display an error? That should help diagnose the problem.

There has been some problems with dependencies. If all else fails, open setup.py and replace the 'install_requires = [ .. ]' block with this:

Then run this again:
python2.5 setup.py develop

The change just defines more explicitly exactly what packages need to be installed. A new version of Pylons came out after we released 0.7.2, which has caused some problems where required version numbers weren't specific enough. If this change works for you guys I'll release a quick v0.7.3 patch.

Also, our Git codebase is in flux as we refactor and make some serious improvements for v0.8. You're welcome to use it but it will change regularly — for one, we'll likely be pushing our new frontend interface later in the week. You're welcome to use it and help us test it, just be prepared for change!
