   I've been trying to configure XSendFile to work with Apache and MediaCore, but there seem to be some issues.

   I've installed the mod using:
   apxs -cia mod_xsendfile.c

   Then added the 'XSendFile on' to the http.conf file, and changed the 'file_serve_method' attribute to the 'apache_xsendfile' as pointed on the instructions. But everytime I try to get media files, my browser requests:

   http://my.domain/media/files/254_something.mp4

   And the server responds with:

   "The requested URL /media/mediacore.fcgi/files/254_something.mp4 was not found on this server."

   Any suggestions?

   Glad you got it working! What was the fix for anyone else who might run into the same issue?

   Right, sorry :D

   Basically, you need to set the XSendFilePath for MediaCore files, like this:

   #XSendFile
   XSendFile on
   <Directory /var/www/html/your_dir/mediacore.fcgi/files>
   XSendFilePath /mediacore_install_dir/data/media/
   </Directory>

   MediaCore will attach an header that will be caught by XSendFile, but unless you tell it which dir to get those files from, XSendFile will attempt to get it from "inside" mediacore (translated to mediacore.fcgi/files).
