Software is never done. Even though MediaCore CE 0.10 is not yet released I want to plan which features should be included in the next version. Now I'm looking for your input what is most important to you.

To start with I would use Mediacore CE exclusively as an Access-restricted Platform. I currently use Vimeo to encode the videos (using Vimeo access restrictions), this is then embedded into Wordpress (with individual user logons). Mediacore CE with better access restrictions would allow me to take complete control and offer a nicer environment for my clients.
-Mobile Support (adaptative template) because the actual template is very poor for mobiles devices.
-Video Transcoding, using ffmpeg (automatic thumbnail support and preview-view of video should be interesting)
-better social support, no the poor actual comments support, will be a lot better disqus support http://disqus.com/ (no problem of spam, and is a lot better that mediacore comments)

We've been experimenting with Mediacore for a few days now, so first I have to say this project has laid some good groundwork. Kudos and thanks!

-Video transcoding or perhaps light integration with something like Matterhorn would be a nice pie-in-the-sky wish list item. Largely because the two projects seem complimentary.
We largely are looking to use it for providing open source training materials to the non-profits and interns we work with. Most of us work full-time jobs and volunteer for the Open Co-opt work so maintaining a reference site for embracing new people is a big deal.
We also use the site to help the non-profit management people wrap their collective heads around the community in general, this has been useful in conversion from sceptical to adoption.
-Improved Access Restrictions: This is a big one for us. Being able to password protect or require login for specific videos is an oft-requested feature for us since faculty want to provide video content to students that they don't have rights to publish broadly on the web.
-Improve the JSON API (wondering if this would be all it takes for the current Wordpress plugin to work with MediacoreCE since that's a big item on our wish list)
-Video Transcoding: Panda is just too expensive. We'd love to use ffmpeg for this since we have plenty of horsepower on the machine we're running. Alternatively Encoding.com at least has a free tier to experiment with, though quite limited.
We're running our instance as a community portal for video content produced and used by the University. As mentioned above we often get requests for a place to upload a video for students to access but since it's wide open that makes it less useful for that scenario. We also run a large Wordpress Multisite platform and if we could have the Wordpress plugin activated across all sites to allow people to include videos hosted on our platform directly in their posts with just a few clicks that would be pretty awesome.
