   Hi a newbie at mediacore here and am seeing 502 errors. Nginx error log says:

   connect() to unix:/tmp/uwsgi-mediacore.sock failed (111: Connection refused) while connecting to upstream, client: 192.168.9.68, server: dragontube.ssis-suzhou.net, request: "GET / HTTP/1.0", upstream: "uwsgi://unix:/tmp/uwsgi-mediacore.sock:", host: "dragontube.ssis-suzhou.net"

   However, my netstat says:

   unix 2 [ ACC ] STREAM LISTENING 101928 /tmp/uwsgi-mediacore.sock

   The relevant section in nginx (1.2.1) config is:

   location / {
   uwsgi_pass unix:///tmp/uwsgi-mediacore.sock;
   include uwsgi_params;
   uwsgi_param SCRIPT_NAME '';
   }

   Any available help?

   I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong here.

   Can anyone recommend any tools to help diagnose the unix socket?

   Permissions for /tmp directory:

   drwxrwxrwt 3 root root 4096 Dec 12 15:17 tmp

   Permissions for /tmp/uwsgi-mediacore.sock:

   srwxrwxrwx 1 root root 0 Dec 11 12:42 uwsgi-mediacore.sock

   What other checks could I do?

   The first thing is to verify if you uwsgi daemon was started. I'd check the uwsgi logs, usually they'll tell you what is wrong.

   Yep, uwsgi is running.

   K this is weird. I confirmed that my deployment has master = true and ran the plaster command again:

   sudo uwsgi --ini-paste deployment.ini

   And get this back.

   uwsgi: unrecognized option '--ini-paste'
   getopt_long() error

   aha

   sudo which uwsgi
   /usr/bin/uwsgi

   So I just it with the full path to the uwsgi executable and it works. Looks great by the way!
