Now it is possible only to create admins with "root" access, while it would be useful (in fact it is a must imo) to have some permissions system in place with more than just one role.
Any plans on that?

There are plans for it (hence the screen in the administrative control panel) and it is something we're planning to work in at some point this year. It's not an initial priority because we haven't had tonnes of requests for multiple levels of user permissions.

OK, so I will try to do it while learning Python/Pylons.

And what about now? Is there now user roles allowing different access to different videos?
