Well, without SSH access it's really hard. I thought about writing some scripts to remote install MediaCore but in the end, I don't think there is commercial demand for that. Also you need quite a few libraries so it might be even impossible to install MediaCore on your host.
Basically, just find a cheap vps/hosting package with SSH and install MediaCore there. You'll save yourself a lot of hassle!

Crazy talk! - A client side (shared hosting) installer script is the one thing lacking that would make Mediacore absolutely explode! (with popularity!).
Installation is the one big hindrance for shared hosting users (and they are many!) .
Just Google "shared hosting mediacore" or "cpanel mediacore" .The majority of these users are more than competent at maintaining their Wordpress and other blogs, administering their online stores, running their CMS etc. Products that have been ALLOWED to become popular since they would have otherwise struggled or failed with installation.
Installer scripts remove this huge usability blockade for the majority of end-users. Look at ZenCart, OSCommerce, Magento, PHPBB, Wordpress, etc etc. all with simplified or auto- install scripts.
Ask yourself if these would have become so popular if the end-user fell over at the first step (installation)?
More examples are prominent in Fantastico, Softaculous etc. It's a real shame that more value isn't being placed on this issue, as it seems it is simply self-sabotage, preventing Mediacore from reaching the masses.
I hope you consider this important addition to an outstanding and amazing product. -

Thank you very much for your input and I'll consider this seriously for my further plans.
