Hello,
I just wanted to double check if someone else experiences this or not. I'm running:
OS X 10.5.8, stock apache2.2 with mod_fastcgi, python2.5, and 398-g9729586 (pulled it today).
Once I deploy it via fastcgi, and I chown -R _www:_www nine and nine_serve (my_media equivalent), I fire up my browser and visit my virtualhost nine.com. Apparently main.css and any js files have trouble getting read by _www (apache). I get 403 access denied for those files. A few of the images load fine though.
So I double, triple, and quadruple checked permissions, ACLs, and everything says apache should be able to read that.
Dir structure:
/Library/WebServer/Documents/nine (mediacore 0.9 398-g9729586 installation dir)
/Library/WebServer/Documents/nine_serve (fascgi deployment script)
(nine_env)macpro:nine_serve macpro$ ls -la
total 24
drwxr-xr-x 6 _www _www 204 Dec 16 02:18 .
drwxrwxr-x 9 root admin 306 Dec 16 02:02 ..
-rw-r--r-- 1 _www _www 847 Dec 16 02:03 .htaccess
-rwxr-xr-x 1 _www _www 680 Dec 16 02:10 mediacore.fcgi
drwxr-xr-x 6 _www _www 204 Dec 16 02:18 public
lrwxr-xr-x 1 _www _www 21 Dec 16 02:04 public-link -> nine/mediacore/public
I couldn't figure out how to make it work so I simply copied /nine/mediacore/public over to nine_serve/public. It now works perfectly.
PS: I have 0.8.2 stable installed in a similar fashion, under the same path Library/WebServer/Documents/ and that one is fine with a link to /public rather than a physical copy of it.
