   Hi,

   I've got a server that is whitelisted by Facebook to allow the videos to be embeded directly into Facebook. I've been using MediaCore v0.8.2 with some changes that I've made myself to the media/view.html template, to allow Facebook to fetch the video information from my installation of MediaCore:

   The problem is that, the Python code I used on MediaCore 0.8.2 no longer works on MediaCode 0.9, and I've quite confused on how to get a flash player object to get it's flashvars() and swf_url(). Could anyone enlighten me?

   Ok, I got it done:

       flashvars = player.flashvars()
       jsonvars = simplejson.loads(flashvars['config'])
   
       fb_swf_url += urllib.quote_plus(simplejson.dumps(jsonvars, separators=(',', ':')))

   The problem with this approach is that it will only work with FlowPlayer. Besides the fact that I actually instantiate a FlowPlayer object, the flashvars() drops a dict with a 'config' key and the remaining JSON as string. I had to convert the string to a dict, then back to JSON before I could escape it and use it.

   Also, isn't there an easier way to obtain the domain? I'm finding the first '/' after 'http://' from the image url and using it to begin the fb_swf_url, which doesn't really seem a great approach...
