Yes, this will be possible. We're working on adding this in the next few weeks.

Great. I would also love to see MediaCore work on shared hosting. I know, everyone will say get a VPS or Dedicated Server. However, I just signed up for PacificHost which are GREAT for ffmpeg shared hosting (10x better than Cirtex), and I can easily install the likes of ClipShare and hwdVideoShare but I would much rather use MediaCore yet I do not have root access.
After all, when we first start out most of us can't really afford dedicated servers etc.
I think if cowboys such as PHPmotion etc can do it, so can you! You guys know how to programme they don't! Look at VIMP it's five grand but I can install that on my shared hosting.
Would also love to see the SublimeVideo HTML5 player supported, as well as self-encoding.
Hah. Looking forward to where you guys take this amazing framework! It's so difficult to find an all-round video streaming solution but this seems to be the ONE.
I was wondering though how you plan to monetize the project; are you going to implement premium features like ViMP eventually? They charge 50 EUR for HD transcoding (self hosted).

Sublime Video is already supported, and works with any standard installation of the MediaCore Open Source platform. Unfortunately, we won't be supporting shared hosting in the open version as most shared hosting providers do not have the Python requirements that we need in order to run the app.
The Cloud Platform (http://mediacore.com/signup) will provide hosted services, though currently it is in beta. We're currently planning on launching the platform towards the end of July.
