   hello,

   I am currently running version 0.11.dev of mediadrop on ubuntu 16.04 using mod_wsgi. The problem I have is with the closed captions being cut off in the <iframe> tag.

   This deployment of mediadrop is used as a backend for video hosting and delivery of the video files. Additionally, the video content is accessed via embedded iframes within the Canvas web app for students. Canvas has stated that it is to be used on the Chrome browser, which leads to the problem.

   The closed captions do not resize and are all on one line in Chrome. So with the embedded files the captions are cut off.

   I am using SRT files and jwplayer 5.x (the one that came bundled with mediadrop).

   Should I update to the most recent version of 8.2 of jwplayer or is there another solution?

   It has taken a while to get back to the forum. Here is my solution.

   I kept a local copy of the captions.js file from longtailvideo in my scripts folder and modified the the following:

   changed:

   height:auto
   position:absolute
   width:auto

   to:

   heigh:100%
   position:relative
   width:
   100%

   then I went into the jwplayer.min.js file and changed the line pointing the plugin call from http://www.longtailvideo to my directory location
