   Yes, I know I can simply use URL to the .flv file generated in Kaltura (I'm using FTP option in MediaCore with custom CVS file for batch import files uploaded via MediaCore, but still, Kaltura is using its own directories structure to hold all converted files and I can't find any easy way to know what file (and how) should I expose to be used in embed in player on MediaCore site.

   I do read the "MediaCore supports a wide range of formats including (but not limited to): YouTube, Vimeo, Google Video, Amazon S3, Bits on the Run, BrightCove, Kaltura, and either your own server or someone else's." but how to get it from Kaltura without hunting for files and guessing?

   Any ideas?

   To answer my own question: Kaltura has API for remote processing and retrieving data, so now I need to learn how to use it with MediaCore.

   If you want to use files hosted on Kaltura all you have to do is add a file and enter the URL to your Kaltura video. This will allow you to host your video on Kaltura, while allowing MediaCore to handle the display.

   We are contemplating making closer ties to Kaltura, but as this is an open source project we'd need to find a company willing to sponsor the integration.

   Thanks, but I'm trying to automate it a bit. I could just use a bash script on my Kaltura server to generate CSV files for uploaded via FTP files from MediaCore and next fire up transcoding, but what I really need, is how to tell MediaCore what is the URL and filename of generated .flv file.

   But there is also some good news - I just found there is a Kaltura API Client available also in Python, see: http://corp.kaltura.com/wiki/index.php/Prepare_for_Integration#Download_the_Kaltura_API_Client

   Not sure if that version is compatible, but if you are interested, I think it is a good start.

   Thanks for the awesome work, the UX is amazing! Also I was able to install everything without issues and this is the first Python app I'm using.
