   Hy to the community!
   I have installed two systems of mediacore
   One with 0.8.2 and one with 0.9.x

   But why is the embed -Code different between the two??
   0.8.2-Code

   The old-Code on 0.8.2 is perfect for integration into other cms-Systems.
   An iframe isn´t secure and a good solution.

   The problem with the old <object> embed code was that it would only work with Flash players, whereas iframes allow us to embed some javascript that handles the Flash vs HTML5 logic depending on what browser/device is being used. Without iframes none of your videos would work on mobile devices without flash.

   Which CMS are you using? I know with Wordpress you can get a plugin that allows iframes to be embedded quite easily.

   Hy Nathan!

   I´m using CMSMS (www.cmsmadesimple.org) only with the flash-players at the moment.
   This worked great, but the Iframe-solution isn´t possible in the cms.
   Isn´t it also a security-hole the use of an iframe???
   My problem is that I don´t use much features of the system.
   I was using 0.8.x for manage, admin, embed of the videos.
   I don´t use it as System for a video-community.
   Is it possible to change this back (or selectable) who the embed code is created??
   The System himself is very great in ussage - Thanks for the work on this project.

   Iframes by themselves are not a security issue. Vimeo, YouTube, and DailyMotion have all been offering iframe embed players to support HTML5 playback without any issues.

   Fortunately it looks like CMSMS can support iframes with some special syntax. You'll have to read this thread for more details, but it looks like you can use:
   

   {embed url=http://mediacore...}

   instead of
   

   <iframe src="http://mediacore...">

   Hope that helps.
