Hi,
i thought i post a little update for Apple HLS Streaming for Mediacore that is working since the last 24 hours :)
The problem with the plugin was that we needed a device detection cause we want to stream Apple HLS which contains an m3u8 with several video qualities for Flash, iOS and Android.
After some research i find a way toDo this with an AbstractHTML Class of the original PluginClass from MediaCore where we are able now to render then System and Plugin API Variables like width,height,url..etc into a js script / def python function and from that we generate a second function which includes the device detection itself. With this way we were able to generate a object tag for flash and a video tag for iOS and android. A plus with this method was that i was able to add some license protection for optional and not free OSMF Plugins.
You can take a look what is installed in our third-party folder (don't use it yet in production if you don't know what the code means, we will release soon an better document version):
